With the washed and polished girl, Ali, his assistant, and goblin in toe, they made it through the gates of the palace an into the courtyard. There, fountains and flora of all kinds were scattered in an eden-like garden. Read and white mushroom protruded from the ground here and there casting shade over the few palace tenants who rested among the leaves and grass. They immediatedly followed Johnathan with their gazes, lustfully, curiously, and enviously. The Prince of Aces, Johnathan Wolfblade had arrived in Luminallia Castle to meet with King Dorian.
They payed little mind to the other with him, thinking it would be normal for someone of his status to have his own entourage with him. Of course, getting right to business he let his apprentice take the horses off to the stables with the goblin while he and Ali continued up toward the castle on foot. They were welcomed into the great hall where all was magnificently adorned in golds and silvers.
"Come along dear, we have an audience with the king. We won't want to keep him waiting," he said, placing his hand on the small of her back as he guided her to the throne room.

She gazed wide-eyed throughout dinner, and afterward found a time to slip away to the library. There she found volumes upon volumes of books on swords. She thumbed through them tirelessly until she found a small paragraph that mentioned the name "Crimnus".
Said to have belonged to the great Rue Hawkins, this mythic sword was said to hold great and unlimited power, but it is just a fable. No such sword exists.
A small frown crossed her brow and she got up to look in the history section to find a book on Rue Hawkins. There were several, and looking through them she found a passage,
And so the might Rue Hawkins wielded the sword Crimnus against the dark fay, and they were vanquished. The entire world over then felt the sword cut through the darkness of the land leaving it shining and beautiful.
She grabbed a few other books and stuffed them into a deserted pack on the wall and slipped away. Back to Dysin's keep, she would need a picture of the sword. There she happened to see Dysin slip a paper under a brick. She guessed it must be the sword in question and stole the drawing. Then went off to the library to research more.
