He was home, content and finally relaxed. His walk back was flooded with the evening bickering and tears among the secrets they had whispered among themselves. He wanted it all to fade like he once had in the minds of fay and goblin and he wanted the world to pause for a short while so he could finally collect every part of it that had fallen out of place. He was home now though, and that was all that had mattered. Climbing through few ruins and fallen trees he had found himself a place to bask in a pool of white from the moons cast upon the lands so forgotten long ago though thrived with life beyond assumption.
He was at home here among his own kind the very ones that had such a sense of darkness there never once was a day of threat to stress he’d had to deal in his daily worry. There was only one thing on his mind that had kept him wary enough to hear any whisper of a footfall and that was for his spy's return. She would surely obey as he asked and indeed return before the sun had once more ruled the sky banishing the moon from its playtime. Though, surely by then he would, for the first time in a while, be deep asleep. So, without letting the thoughts of the current prod threw his rest he settled quietly along the soft and remarkably clean grass snug and hidden like a secret garden within the capture of the aspen trees. Not asleep, but listening.

Lilith had been traveling for a few days after returning to this land. Not much had necessarily changed since she had left. She sighed as she flitted through to the edge of the old ruins. She stopped up short at the edge motioning for her wolf companion to gently stop beside her. "We must tread carefully here Convel. I am not sure if some goblins still lurk within these shadows." She looked into her companion's eyes. "The darkness is holding onto their secrets and will not reveal to me if there is anyone here. I would ask you to wait here but I know it is futile so into the darkness we go."
She tiptoed through the grass hoping no one would notice her. She felt a caress of air on her cheek. Convel produced a low growl in the back of its throat. "Convel shhh." She whispered. The shadows were in turmoil whispering a hundred things. "I know not what this place holds but I'm not sure what to do from here." She held onto Convel and she sunk to her knees in the grass. She must wait for the shadows to calm before she could continue onward.

Hearing the growl, Dysin's eyes flew open and he got to his feet. It was well past curfew and his demon shadow-dogs were surely pursuing and tearing any intruder limb from limb, but this growl was one of a living animal, not his hell-risen creations. His eyes scanned the foliage and a glitter of blue wing and two yellow eyes had him summoning the beasts to his side. The goblin king edged his way out of the silvery moonlight patch and into the shadows where he snuck 'round to appear behing the fay. His hell dogs immeadiately protecting him from her wolf.
"What's a seelie little fay doing in my kingdom?" he asked casually, gazing at her as plants towered over head. Her crimson hair and blue gown definitely gave her the look of one of Dorian's people. He crossed his arms, dark hair falling all around his bare chest and shoulders, silvery eyes shining as he gazed at her. He wasn't much in an "evil" mood at the moment. It must have been the moonlight, something about it always calmed him. However if this fay were a spy or looking for trouble, she had certainly found it. His men were but a whistle away and the demons...were only a thought away. "What's your business here girl?" he seemed to purr. The light shown down as a passing cloud moved overhead. Dysin's pale skin and hers seemed to glow a moment before darkness took over.

Lilith jumped as the goblin appeared behind her surrounded by dogs made of shadows. No wonder the shadows were whispering strange things to her. It must have been this goblin and his hell spawn shadow dogs. No matter she would not be bullied. With all the strength and defiance she could muster she stood as straight as possible and gazed at the goblin. She put a hand on Covel's head and pushed him behind her before he did something rash to protect her from the brute in front of her.
"I see no reason for me to tell you any of my business, especially since you have snuck up on me so rudely." she crossed her arms. "And don't think darkness will frighten me either. I am quiet acquainted with the darkness and shadows and they don't like to be used for selfish purposes." Though it was true what she said about the darkness not frightening her those devilish looking dogs did give her several moments pause as she glanced warily in their direction.
